Now accepting the Gourmet Society card, members calling in advance can enjoy everything on the menu at an excellent price, leaving plenty of left-over funds for one of the many beers, wines and spirits served. Whether guests are looking for a few bites to pair with these drinks or are seeking a hearty meal, Walnut Tree Shades has them covered. For those after the former there are some of the superb starters available, such as the brand-new lemongrass & chilli prawns, served with a salad garnish. The scrumptious nachos, adorned with melted cheese, jalapenos and able to be finished with the chef's own Chili, and a range of vegetarian small plates like the Soup, Hummus or Beetroot Falafels, catering to all needs. Equally as diverse and just as delicious are the main courses, which feature something for all tastes. The home-made Caribbean Chicken Curry is highly recommended by management and customers alike, combining savoury and sweet.
